Visit the European birthplace of downhill skiing! With a direct flight to Zurich on Swissair and a pleasant 2 _ hour bus ride you will be arriving at the famous resort of Davos, home to the annual World Economic Forum. At an altitude of 5000 ft, Davos claims to be the highest small town in Europe. We have selected the intimate four star Hotel Meierhof for our stay, conveniently located to the various ski areas. There are a total of 52 lifts in the five ski areas providing approx. 200 miles of trails. 30% are classified as easy, 40% intermediate and 30% difficult. For those interested in other activities there is cross country skiing, hang and paragliding, night skiing, indoor golf, indoor tennis, skating, sleigh rides, snow biking, snowshoeing, swimming, tobogganing and shopping in town. We will conclude our trip with a 2 day stay at the four star Ambassador Hotel in Zurich in immediate vicinity of the lake and world famous Bahnhofstrasse for last minute shopping. A walking tour of the old town is included in the price. This will be another unforgettable trip to Switzerland.
