We’re back, and what a great trip we had! The fun started with the pre-trip party - catered with authentic Argentinean food and wine. We even had a Tango show.
On our arrival in Buenos Aires, we had time for shopping, sightseeing, and resting. The day ended with a fabulous dinner and Tango show, leaving us happy and ready for Bariloche the following day. The first two days the weather was challenging, but we had an excellent skier who led the fearless, clueless, but eager to learn gang. After those two days the weather was wonderful and we skied non-stop to the end.
We had a happy hour full of jokes and brave tequila drinkers contest, ending with a great snow fight. On top of that there was more skiing, fun, champagne, and tea and cakes at the poch Pire Hue Lodge. Another day we had dinner at a beautiful Fondue restaurant and also went to downtown Bariloche for shopping and touring, ending that day at an excellent Argentinean restaurant. The food was fantastic!
The last night came upon us all too soon. We had our champagne cocktail party to say good-by to Bariloche and the next day left for Buenos Aires and onto the Airport to return to Miami. Six of us stayed two more days in Buenos Aires and had a fantastic time.
We ended this adventure with a fabulous post trip dinner at an Argentinean restaurant in Miami. There we shared wonderful photos and memories of our trip.
In all, this was one super fantastic trip, largely because we had great, fun loving people in our group. It was an honor for me to be their trip leader.
