What is the Miami Ski Club?
The Miami Ski Club was founded in 1968 to promote the sport of snow skiing and to have fun year round. We are an active social club, a travel club, an outdoor club, a cultural club and above all - a fun club!

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

April, 2011

Pam EpsteinHi everyone,

I hope you are all happy with the Constant Contact weekly MSC updates. Aren’t the links to website pages cool? We have finally gone GREEN!! Time for membership renewal, so easy just upload, print and mail in. Do it early so you don’t forget. New members in April get 14 months. Our membership year is June 1st to May 31st. Sandy Margoluis planned our Springfest at a new location this spring so RSVP please. Many of you attend for FREE but still need to RSVP and select your entrée. Linda Kaplan, social events coordinator, planned Jersey Boys, Kampong Tour, Miami River tour and coming up is Stiltsville Tour, April 23. Our Happy Hours are fantastic each week and we have 25 – 50 attending weekly. Bring a friend for a great evening out. Breckenridge and Lake Louise/ Banff ski trips were a huge success! Many thanks to our trip leaders, Maggie Zaitz and Lisa and Rick Hagen. Our Executive Committee is working on quotes for our 2012 Ski trips and we will keep you posted. We need Trip Leaders, so please fill out an application and mail to us by May 15. We would love to see more participation from all of you and ideas are always welcome. We need new volunteers to plan monthly events, dine-a- rounds, and photograph our events and more. Our wonderful Miami Ski Club is run by dedicated volunteer board members. There would not be a MSC without them all. View us on Facebook | Miami Ski Club.

WE NEED YOU!

Members, we need your help . We need volunteers on the Board of Directors to maintain the strength and continuity of the MSC. We need a new editor of our monthly Newsletter Publication which has been circulated to our membership for the past ten years by the same gracious editor. We need a Photographer to capture our Snowball and Social events. These photos will be posted on our website and facebook page, documenting the fun and comaraderie of the MSC for the enjoyment of us all. Enthusiastic volunteers for these positions will enhance and influence the future of the Miami Ski Club. Your help is greatly appreciated. Please contact us at president@miamiskiclub.net.
